Playing with computer programming really eats into my gaming time! I wanted an application that allows me to easily view my Xbox Live gamer stats and profile, as well as being able to check out other gamer's progress. This is my first effort; the imaginatively titled Xbox Live Profile Viewer. Tada...

Using the Xbox Live Profile Viewer
This software is very easy to use. Simply enter any Xbox Live Gamertag and wait a bit, and a bit more, and there we go, the current GamerScore, Gaming Activity, Gamer Picture, Bio, Motto, Avatar and Reputation pops up. And, if that wasn't enough, if the GamerTag is registered with 360voice.com, their full gaming history will be available, as well as their latest Xbox blog...
If you haven't yet visited 360voice.com, let me suggest you do. It's a really great community run site that extends the Xbox360 experience. Once registered, they generate a blog/writeup of your day's gaming activity. More comprehensive stats on your gaming habits are available as well as challenges with other Xbox360 gamers.
Installing the Xbox Live Profile Viewer
This software requires Microsoft's .net Framework version 3.5 to be installed on your computer. If you are using Windows Update, you should already have this installed; Windows Vista (SP1) users will already have this installed. If you know absolutely that you do, well cool; go right ahead and hit the Download link in the download box above, then virus-check and run the Installer program.
If you do not have the .Net Framework installed, or you are unsure, or you have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about right now, you will need to first check to see if it's installed in Add/Remove Programs. If it's not listed then you haven't been keeping your computer up to date and secure, tut tut... Open Internet Explorer and visit Windows Update; you will find the .Net Framework 3.5 listed as an item to install. If you require any further help, please feel free to get in touch using the form below; I'll be happy to help.
Because this software targets version 3.5 of the Microsoft .Net Framework, this software will only run on the Windows Operating System. As the Mono Project does not yet contain 3.5 libraries, Mac/Lynux users can not use this software; sorry. I'm not really.
Updating the Xbox Live Profile Viewer
If you are connected to the internet, this software will attempt to check it's the latest version each time you start it. If you are not connected to the internet, this program will be completely useless... A message box will show you if an update is available. You can then choose to update, or continue using your current version. You really should keep all your software up to date though...
Uninstalling the Xbox Live Profile Viewer
This software can be uninstalled, as usual, though your control panel; or, run the Uninstaller directly through your Start Menu.
Further Development and Support
I still have loads of groovy features to add, like auto-updating, stats and badges from 360voice, and profile info on all games played. If you'd care to share your experience about installng or using this software, I'd be grateful for any feedback you provide.
Thanks for all your queries, comments, suggestions, demands and stuff so far; apart from those pesky spammers... And just to answer the most common question; No, I cannot do the same for the PS3 trophies. As far as I know, PS3 gamer stat data is not available, so I can't play with it; sorry. I really am this time... The ClickOnce deployment will no longer be supported; if you are using that version, it will not receive any further updates, and you should install the new version on this page. Oh, and yes, this software is free to use (read the license when you install) - help yourself.
If you know the Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 is installed on your machine, click here to download Xbox Live Profile Viewer. Enjoy.
